Mont-Saint-Grégoire
A high point in nature!
Mont-Saint-Grégoire is the ultimate outdoor and gourmet getaway in Haut-Richelieu. Here, the mountain sets the tone: you climb to new heights, breathe deeply, and leave with the feeling of having made the most of your day, without any logistical complications, close to home.
For hiking enthusiasts, the site is enhanced by the Haut-Richelieu Ecological Environment Interpretation Center (CIME), which protects the environment and offers a network of accessible trails that are open year-round. Along the way, you will pass through maple and oak forests before reaching a more open summit offering a remarkable panorama of the Montérégie region. On a clear day, you can see far into the distance: Montreal on the horizon and, further south, the mountains of Vermont and the Adirondacks. It is the kind of view that transforms a simple walk into a special moment, without artifice.
Throughout the seasons, agritourism becomes a competitive advantage for the region. Spring and fall invite visitors to stop by local producers; summer lends itself to active outings followed by a tasty break; winter brings visitors back for the crisp air and comforting atmosphere. Orchards and maple groves structure the experience and add a local dimension to your itinerary.
For those seeking an adrenaline rush, Arbraska Mont-Saint-Grégoire rounds out the offering with aerial adventure courses, zip lines, and outdoor trampolines, in addition to family activities in the trees. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, you can choose your level of challenge in a setting designed for experience and safety.
Mont-Saint-Grégoire is a destination that ticks all the boxes: accessible nature, inspiring views, experiential activities, and local flavors. Perfect for an impromptu outing, a strategic weekend getaway, or a gourmet stopover, starting now.

Here, we climb!

Managed by the Centre d’interprétation du milieu écologique (CIME) Haut-Richelieu, the site is located in a recognized nature reserve, with well-maintained trails and interpretive signage that adds value to every step.
At an altitude of 251 meters, the climb is accessible to families and occasional hikers, while offering a fairly steep incline to satisfy those who like to "feel" the climb. Along the way, you will pass through rich forest ecosystems and enjoy observation points that open up panoramic views of the Richelieu Plain.
