Come and pick delicious apples at Verger de la Montagne!

Le Verger de la Montagne is located on the northern slope of Mont Saint-Grégoire and is run by the fourth generation of the Duchesne family. The orchard has been welcoming visitors for over 75 years. People come here mainly to pick their own apples in a stunning natural setting, with a beautiful view of the mountain. While parents enjoy a light snack in the picnic area, children can have fun in the huge sandbox built just for them.

During the season, which begins in late July, the orchard offers 24 varieties of apples, including Rosinette and Passionata—two new varieties created by La Pomme de Demain, a project in which the company participated. This allows visitors to discover both classic varieties and more recent creations.

At the end of the tour, a stop at the gift shop is a must. Of course, you can buy pre-picked apples there, as well as a variety of products such as jelly, apple juice, honey, cider, and apple butter. The gift shop is open year-round, so be sure to check it out!
