I love it!

Do you like it fresh? The Marché public du Vieux-Saint-Jean is open every Wednesday and Saturday morning during high season to stock up on local flavors! Don't feel like cooking? Old Saint John has over 60 restaurants and bars to tantalize your taste buds! Fancy a hot coffee or sangria on a terrace? Over 2,100 terraces are available and waiting for you!

I'm getting some air!

The park you're in right now is one of the Oasis zones in Old Saint John. These areas are dedicated to relaxation and the art of taking one's time in the great outdoors. Another Oasis is located a little further up rue Richelieu, at Place publique, and combines open-air shows with Un Été Show programming every summer.

There are also a number of green spaces and parks where you can make the most of your visit, including the Collège militaire royal de Saint-Jean. Open to the public, this enchanting site, with its mature trees and river views, is the perfect spot for an outdoor picnic!

Do you love beautiful landscapes? Welcome to Old Saint John! Whether you want to walk or cycle, the Chambly Canal NHS promises you a 20-km journey between the waters!

I'm sailing!

Since you're located right next to the Richelieu River, it would be crazy not to take advantage of the water activities on offer. Alo Richelieu is an organization that allows you to book and plan your outings on the water. About 3 km south, at the Centre-de-plein-air-Ronald-Beauregard, you can rent non-motorized boats from O Sup Shop. Paddleboards, kayaks or canoes, there's something for everyone.

Closer to home, Croisières d'Iberville offers more than 10 packages. The boat sails the entire length of the Richelieu River, from Saint-Ours to the borders, via the Canal-de-Chambly historic site. Most departures are from Le Nautique marina at the end of rue Richelieu.

The marina and its restaurant, Le Bleumarin, offer a magnificent terrace where you can enjoy the warm summer days against a backdrop of boats that will make the sailor in you dream!

I'm feasting!
