Fort Saint-Jean Museum

The Musée du Fort Saint-Jean, a historic site waiting to be discovered!

The Musée du Fort Saint-Jean will appeal to history buffs, as this National Historic Site demonstrates Canada's military heritage.

Discover over 350 years of military history at the Collège militaire royal de Saint-Jean. 

Visit this museum that bears witness to the highlights of the past and its many occupants. You'll learn about the passage of Amerindian warriors, French troops, English troops, American revolutionaries and numerous Canadian regiments. 

Consult the many thematic maps, models and archives. See period uniforms, weapons and artifacts.

Off-season:

Reservations are required during the week (closed on weekends, except for groups of 10 or more)

High season:

May 6, 2026, through August 31, 2026 (Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) 

No reservation required (except for groups of more than 10 people)
