LHN Canal-de-Chambly

Stroll through the Chambly Canal National Historic Site

The Canal-de-Chambly National Historic Site's multipurpose trail offers a moment of pure relaxation in an environment steeped in history. Whether you're cycling or walking, the canal strip is always a beautiful place for a summer stroll.

What's more, the 20 km bike path is the perfect place to watch ducks and other birds. You'll also enjoy breathtaking views of the river and canal.

Afterwards, your children will love watching the boats passing through the locks. Whether at Lock No. 9 in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu or Lock No. 8, boats of all sizes pass through daily.

Finally, if you enjoy non-motorized boats, you're in for a treat! Let yourself be charmed as you sail along the canal. Several boat rental companies are located nearby, in Chambly and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
