From July 4 to August 23, the Place publique du Vieux-Saint-Jean becomes the beating heart of summer with Un été show, a cultural and festive program designed to bring together residents and visitors of all ages. For several weeks, this iconic venue transforms into a vibrant space where music, dance, and the arts come together in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Every day brings its own share of discoveries and activities. Dance enthusiasts can let loose at line dancing, country dancing, or salsa nights, while music lovers will enjoy dynamic and lively performances by talented artists. Families aren’t left out either, thanks to “Family Sundays,” which feature activities and shows designed to entertain both kids and adults.

Yoga on Mondays
Every Monday evening starting at 6 p.m., the SPEC du Haut-Richelieu invites you to take a break outdoors with Origine Yoga, as part of the “Un été show” summer program.
Organized by IGA Marché Laplante, Yoga Mondays offers sessions open to everyone in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Under the trees in Honoré-Mercier Park, participants are invited to move, breathe, and start the week off gently.

The Haut-Richelieu SPEC invites you to enjoy a spectacular outdoor musical experience with a live broadcast of *L’OM au pied du mont Royal*, as part of the summer series *Un Été Show* at the Vieux-Saint-Jean public square.
A must-see summer event, “L’OM au pied du mont Royal,” presented by CN in collaboration with Le Groupe Maurice, features a major free concert by the Orchestre Métropolitain every year. For the first time, the event is expanding beyond Montreal to reach all corners of the province, with a live broadcast at the Place publique in Vieux-Saint-Jean.
Hosted by Fabiola Nyrva Aladin and conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin, this evening promises a spectacular program in which classical music unfolds with clarity, intensity, and imagination. The audience will be treated to memorable works by Edvard Grieg, Antonín Dvořák, Ana Sokolović, and Guillaume Couture.
