CIME Haut-Richelieu - Mont-Saint-Grégoire

You've probably heard of the Center d'interprétation du milieu écologique (CIME) du Haut-Richelieu. This 3.5-kilometre network of trails leads to the summit of Mont Saint-Grégoire. When you reach the summit, you'll enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the St. Lawrence lowlands. This colorful spectacle is often accompanied by turkey vultures soaring overhead. A true oasis in the middle of the plains, it's the ideal place for a family outing or a romantic getaway.

Parc naturel des Parulines - Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

You don't have to travel far to enjoy the colors. Visit Parc naturel des Parulineslocated in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, is a magnificent natural space close to the urban area. Covering 26 acres, it features wooded areas, wasteland, wetlands and a stream. You can admire many types of birds, including swallows. Its 2.3-kilometre pedestrian network is dog-friendly and can be used for cross-country skiing.

Nature Trail - Venise-en-Québec

Discover a magnificent protected natural environment by visiting the Nature Trail located in Venise-en-Québec. Accessible year-round, this park guarantees a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. A 2.5-kilometre hiking trail links the McFee Creek Interpretation Centre to Route 202, which passes through the Neuville reserve. You'll hear birdsong all along the way. Don't hesitate to bring along your faithful four-legged friend.

Parc Régional de St-Bernard - St-Bernard-de-Lacolle

If you and your loved ones are the sporty type, you're in for a memorable time at the St-Bernard regional park. This vast green space is packed with hiking trails surrounded by colorful trees. On site, you'll also find disc golf, mini-putt, a training circuit and a playground area. Animal lovers are well catered for, with over a hundred species of bird living in the regional park. And since your dog is part of your family, don't hesitate to bring him along on your next visit. Picnic tables are also available for a bite to eat between a hike and a game of disc golf!
