SPEC du Haut-Richelieu presents some great shows! 

SPEC du Haut-Richelieu is a major cultural player in the Montérégie region, renowned for the quality and diversity of the performances it presents throughout the year. As a nonprofit organization, it will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2024 and remains an indispensable pillar of the region’s cultural life.

Each year, the SPEC presents more than 300 performances, nearly a third of which are specifically designed for young audiences, making it a leading destination for family-friendly cultural events. Approximately 175,000 spectators attend the shows presented in its various venues, including the Théâtre des Deux Rives, the Cabaret-Théâtre du Vieux-Saint-Jean, and the Pôle culturel de Chambly, as well as via simulcast at the Centre culturel de Venise-en-Québec and the 164 Lounge.

Its year-round program features top-tier performers and a wide variety of genres: comedy, music, theater, concert music, dance, circus arts, storytelling, film, and family-friendly shows. Dinner-and-a-show events enhance the experience by combining a night out with the chance to explore local restaurants, offering a complete, all-in-one evening.

In addition to presenting performances, the SPEC du Haut-Richelieu also provides a comprehensive ticketing service to some 50 organizations, festivals, sports teams, and foundations in the Montérégie region through its Vosbillets.ca platform. In this way, it serves as a true logistical and promotional partner for numerous cultural and event organizations.

SPEC also publishes the magazine *L’Entracte*, with a circulation of over 55,000 copies throughout the Haut-Richelieu region, featuring a wide range of performances presented by SPEC and its partners.
