Marché public du Vieux-Saint-Jean
It's the place where you reach 7th heaven!
Welcome to the Marché public du Vieux-Saint-Jean, one of the oldest in Quebec. It's been accompanying our seasons and enhancing the flavor of our dishes since 1858. A true must-see!
On site, over twenty local merchants await us with fresh produce grown in the region's fields, including our famous corn. The joy of living in Quebec's pantry!
You'll also find ready-to-eat, fine and processed products and many other finds.
Children are very welcome. In fact, the City of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu has set up an area for them to enjoy, including a huge fresco on the ground of over 400 m2 on which they can draw with chalk.
