Carrefour Culturel de Saint-Valentin

The Saint-Valentin Cultural Center is a regional arts venue that showcases the talent of local artists in a welcoming setting that is accessible to all. Located in the heart of the town, it offers a diverse program of exhibitions that allows visitors to discover the richness of the Haut-Richelieu arts scene.

Born out of a collaboration between the municipality of Saint-Valentin and the art[o] cooperative, the cultural hub is part of an initiative to promote art and culture in the community. Drawing on its expertise and network of artists, art[o] is tasked with planning and executing the annual exhibition schedule displayed on the walls of the municipal building. This partnership provides a professional showcase for member artists while making art accessible to the general public.

Throughout the year, a series of exhibitions is held, showcasing a variety of styles, techniques, and artistic worlds. Visitors can discover original works, sometimes meet the artists at openings or special events, and explore different forms of visual expression. The cultural hub thus becomes a place for gathering, discovery, and dialogue about art.

Open year-round, the Saint-Valentin Cultural Center welcomes visitors Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., as well as on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. These hours make it an ideal stop during a visit to Saint-Valentin, whether for a planned cultural outing or a spontaneous exploration. Visitors are invited to check the municipality’s and the art[o] cooperative’s websites for the current program and upcoming exhibitions.
