Trinity Estate

Where culture unfolds

Welcome to Trinity Estate, a Johannais treasure!

This heritage site was acquired and restored by the City of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu as a cultural venue. The cultural organization Les Amis de Trinity d'Iberville promotes and animates the site. With a varied program to please everyone. Exhibitions and lively cultural activities await you all year round!

A little history

Fall under the spell of this magnificent property. It features a church built in 1841, a former presbytery and a historic cemetery that has witnessed nearly two centuries of history.

Did you know that the back of the church was even used as a school for almost a century, providing an attic dormitory for a dozen students? This is a unique opportunity to discover an extraordinary part of Quebec's heritage. Here, every stone seems to whisper anecdotes from the past.

Local jewel

After several near misses, the Trinity Estate was saved and restored thanks to the perseverance of the local community. Today, this unique site has become a vibrant cultural and recreational hub, harmoniously blending its rich history with a touch of modernity.

Take a stroll through the peaceful gardens, admire the carefully restored architecture and let yourself be transported by the special atmosphere. It's the ideal place for a getaway that combines history, culture and relaxation.

Vibrant meeting place

All this, in a bucolic setting combining the proximity of the Hazen stream and a fruit garden.

In summer, the site comes alive with outdoor performances. Then, creative workshops and yoga classes attract dozens of enthusiasts.

In winter, it's the place to meet around a roaring fire. We meet artists and authors. Hunt for fantastic creatures. And don't forget the indoor exhibitions presented twelve months a year.

Practical info: Alcoholic beverages may be consumed in the park, provided they are accompanied by a meal.

Consult the program.
