A Summer Show – Yoga on Mondays
Yoga Mondays are back this summer to offer a moment of relaxation and well-being in the great outdoors. Organized by the SPEC du Haut-Richelieu as part of the “Un été show” summer program and presented by IGA Marché Laplante, these free sessions invite participants to take an active break in a peaceful and inspiring setting.
Every Monday at 6 p.m., Honoré-Mercier Park, located in the Vieux-Iberville neighborhood, becomes a true haven of tranquility where yoga takes center stage. Led by instructors from Origine Yoga, the sessions are designed to be accessible to everyone, whether you’ve been practicing yoga for several years or simply want to try it for the first time. Everyone is invited to progress at their own pace in a welcoming and respectful atmosphere.
Practicing yoga outdoors lets you fully enjoy the summer season while taking care of your body and mind. Under the trees in the park, participants can breathe deeply, improve their flexibility, strengthen their balance, and release built-up tension. It’s also a great way to start the week with energy, serenity, and a positive attitude.
The sessions will take place on July 6, 13, 20, and 27, as well as August 3, 10, and 17, always at 6 p.m. The activity is completely free and open to anyone who would like to enjoy a moment of relaxation in a natural setting.
Yoga Mondays are part of the “Un été show” program, which offers a variety of free cultural, artistic, and recreational activities throughout the summer in the heart of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
