What better way to discover places where the region's history is rooted than on a cycling day? The historic village of l'Acadie, the Royal Military College of Canada in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Place Feller in Saint-Blaise-sur-Richelieu will all cross your path. A bucolic discovery

This circuit of just over 50km starts in Saint-Paul-de-l'Île-aux-Noix and heads towards Saint-Valentin. direction of Saint-Valentin along bucolic roads and lanes that make you feel a world away from the city. The final loop, in the municipality of Lacolle, is steeped in history and ties with our American neighbors, and offers an interesting historical tour.

Exploring over 60 km of country roads through 5 neighboring municipalities means taking the time to discover the region's well-kept secrets on previously unknown routes. Saint-Anne-de-Sabrevois, Saint-Sébastien and Henryville combine to form a stretch of farmland where the American mountains can be seen on the horizon. Next come Venise-en-Québec and Saint-Georges-de-Clarenceville, right up to the U.S. border. Here, we pause on the shores of Lake Champlain and let ancestral churches and historic monuments carry us into the world of the Loyalists, heritage and heritage reminiscent of our American neighbors.
