Le Verger aux Hirondelles is a peaceful and beautiful place, part of the Ferme aux Hirondelles. This diverse farm features fruit trees, nut trees, flowers, hayfields, and grain fields, as well as a wooded area, making it a habitat rich in biodiversity. It also offers a superb view of the mountains of the Eastern Townships and Vermont.
Both humans and animals are part of this living ecosystem. When visiting the orchard, you may spot deer, coyotes, foxes, and many birds. This closeness to nature enhances the rejuvenating atmosphere of the place and makes it a wonderful destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
The orchard produces organic fruit and flowers, as well as garlic, nuts, and a variety of homemade products. Visitors can discover a wide range of local products, all grown and processed with respect for the environment. In the fall, the pick-your-own season typically runs until October 15, giving visitors the chance to pick delicious organic apples.
Pick-your-own is available by appointment, and farm products are sold year-round on a made-to-order basis.
