A look back at the Sève 2025 festival
The third edition of the Sève festival was well attended. Music, humour, good food and atmosphere: it was all there! We feasted and danced. There was laughter and fun in the heart of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

By Friday evening, thousands of people had gathered at the new Place Publique to attend Souldia's show. The artist was greeted by a wildly enthusiastic crowd, setting the scene for a more than festive weekend.
Saturday saw action all over Old Saint John! After a show by Arthur l'aventurier in the rain, people flocked to see local and emerging artists perform in local businesses. The atmosphere was warm and appreciative. Moon Davis commented on how attentive the audience was.
In the evening, the public enjoyed the comedy gala hosted by Arnaud Soly, with comedians Thomas Bédard, Maude Landry and Matthieu Pepper. The Place Publique, always packed to the rafters, was a great place for everyone to enjoy a game of pocket or giant chess with family and friends. Those who wanted to keep dancing were served with the mixbus!
Then, on Sunday, other performances were offered to visitors in several venues. With the sun shining brightly, Vincent Vallières revealed himself as the surprise artist to close the festival.
A first spring event that makes you want to take advantage of Old Saint-Jean's superb facilities! The Sève festival was the perfect foretaste of a lively season in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
We're now looking forward to summer evenings by the water, enjoying the moment to the full. Here, you can take it easy as much as you move around and spend quality time.
