A Summer Show – Online Dance Tuesdays

Line dancing Tuesdays are back this summer to bring the heart of Old Saint-Jean to life with a festive and friendly atmosphere. Part of the SPEC du Haut-Richelieu’s “Un Été Show” summer program and presented by Club Piscine St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, this free event invites residents and visitors to gather each week to share the joy of dancing outdoors.

Every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., the Place publique in Old Saint-Jean transforms into a large dance floor filled with good cheer, lively music, and a sense of community. Hosted by Yves Bouchard, these evenings offer a chance to learn different line dance steps or practice those you’ve already mastered, all in a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home.

No experience is necessary to participate. Beginners receive guidance as they learn, while more experienced dancers can refine their moves and enjoy a fun time together. Whether you come alone, as a couple, with friends, or with family, Line Dance Tuesdays offer a great opportunity to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy beautiful summer evenings downtown.

The sessions will take place on July 7, 14, 21, and 28, as well as August 4, 11, and 18, always at 6:30 p.m. The activity is completely free and takes place at the Place publique du Vieux-Saint-Jean, a lively venue that hosts several events throughout the summer season.

"Line Dancing Tuesdays" are part of the "Un Été Show" program, which offers a wide variety of free activities, shows, and entertainment for all ages during the summer.
