An event known for its family-friendly, gourmet atmosphere! Let yourself be swept away by the festive atmosphere of the Boom, thanks to its rich program of entertainment and discoveries.
Opening hours
- Saturday, August 22, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sunday, August 23, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Family zone
Young and old alike have everything they need for family fun at the superhero-themed Boom. There's something for everyone!
- Space for toddlers and their parents with games designed for toddlers;
- An intergenerational area where the whole family can play giant games;
- Inflatable games and installations where the most daring can put themselves to the test;
- Splash: an urban beach with pedal boats for cooling off;
- Skill games for everyone;
- Zootherapy.
Entertainment zone
Come see the dinosaurs in action on Saturday and Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Gerry Boulet Park. They’ll also be walking around the site for photo ops! A mascot parade will also take place on Saturday at noon at Gerry Boulet Park and on Frontenac Street. Speaking of mascots, you can visit their “home” during both days of activities. In addition, the mascots will be out and about on Frontenac Street and at Gerry Boulet Park on Sunday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Gourmet alley and shows
Come and enjoy the products and expertise of our local producers and restaurateurs in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The popular food court at La Boom will feature several food stands, including PuffCorn, Domaine Berthiaume, Hambourgeois Nomade, Treize Chocolats, and many others.
Education Zone
Come discover the dinosaurs on Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Plus, Joanie’s Safari will take place on Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
Relaxation and Wellness Area
Come enjoy some wellness treatments this weekend. There will be thermal and automated treatments offered by Initiation Portrait Santé. You’ll also be able to create your own bracelets with Alakai Boutik on Saturday and Sunday.
Collaborative work
Visitors can help create a collaborative artwork on Saturday and Sunday, from noon to 4 p.m.
