Treize Chocolats - chocolate and cream shop

Located in the heart of Old Saint-Jean, along the Richelieu River, Treize Chocolats is an artisanal chocolate shop where every visit becomes a true culinary experience. Behind this venture is Pascal, an enthusiast whose journey began several years ago, when he first shared his creations with friends and family through word of mouth.

The dream officially took shape in April 2014 with the opening of the first store at Les Halles St-Jean. After five years of promoting Treize Chocolats throughout the region, the company moved to Old Saint-Jean, taking advantage of an ideal location along the river. This new space allowed the company to expand its offerings—including ice cream during the summer season—while attracting a growing tourist clientele.

Everything here is designed to awaken the senses. Handmade chocolates, macarons, ice cream, and bean-to-bar creations are prepared right on the premises, using high-quality ingredients—local whenever possible—and without any added flavorings. You can even watch the artisans at work, take in the aroma of the chocolate being made, and enjoy a moment on the terrace. Tastings and workshops are also offered to help you discover this fascinating world.

Always driven by new projects, Pascal continued to expand his business with the opening, in August 2021, of a second store at the Marché des Promenades in St-Bruno. Today, a passionate team helps produce these delicacies, carrying on the expertise and quality that have made Treize Chocolats famous.
