Playoffs – An Immersive Experience
The playoffs take on a whole new dimension with a unique immersive experience at Saint-Jean-l’Évangéliste Cathedral. Organized by Cargaison Collectif Créatif and supported by Tourisme Haut-Richelieu, this iconic venue transforms into a full-fledged arena on every night the Habs play, offering an atmosphere that is both spectacular and unifying.
The matches are broadcast in real time on a giant screen over 30 feet wide, allowing spectators to follow the action as if they were there in person. In addition, immersive projections cover the walls of the cathedral, creating a stunning and immersive visual experience.
The experience also stands out for its programming, which emphasizes authenticity and emotion. The national anthem is performed live, while the cathedral’s organist provides the music, lending a unique musical touch to each evening. On-site entertainment helps maintain a dynamic and engaging atmosphere throughout the games.
Refreshments are available on site, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the event in a friendly atmosphere. This initiative offers a unique way to experience the playoffs, bringing hockey fans together in a venue steeped in history.
Open to everyone, this event is designed to be a collective celebration of hockey—often referred to as “Sainte Flanelle”—in an immersive and festive atmosphere.
The event will take place at Saint John the Evangelist Cathedral. Tickets are available, and more information will be posted soon on their Facebook page.
