Corn Roast / Family Festival

On September 12, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Épluchette de Noyan returns in full force with a festive day packed with activities for the whole family. Held in a friendly atmosphere, this community-building event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the last beautiful days of summer while experiencing the community’s warm welcome.

The day will get off to a gentle start with a yoga session led by Karine Lussier—the perfect way to kick off the festivities. Throughout the day, children can have fun on the inflatable play structures, while soccer fans will attend the medal ceremony honoring the season’s achievements.

At lunchtime, it’s time for a tradition! From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., visitors can enjoy free corn on the cob and hot dogs—a great opportunity to share a meal with family or friends in a festive atmosphere.

Curious young visitors will also have the chance to tour a fire truck and learn more about the work of first responders. A face painter will be on hand to transform the children into their favorite characters and add a touch of magic to their day.

On the entertainment front, the stage will come alive with a performance by Barbara Diab & The Smoked Meat Band, who will put on an energetic musical show to liven up the festivities and get visitors dancing.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, the Épluchette de Noyan is a must-attend event for a day filled with fun, music, good food, and new connections. Come celebrate with family or friends and enjoy a diverse lineup of activities that will appeal to all ages. It’s a wonderful way to create cherished memories and wrap up the summer season in a truly festive atmosphere!
