The Société d'Initiative Touristique et Économique (S.I.T.E.) was founded on May 22, 1998. This non-profit organization has been a partner and creator of several tourism-related projects in Venice-in-Quebec. The focus is on culture, nature, family events and sporting events. Tourisme Venise-en-Québec Lac Champlain is a source of information on the interests of our great region.

It operates under the aegis of the Société d'Initiative Touristique et Économique (S.I.T.E.) du Lac Champlain. This organization's mission is to promote the economic and tourism development of a given region. It plays an essential role in showcasing the local heritage, while seeking to attract investors and boost tourism-related economic sectors.

Our role is to contribute to the development of tourism in Venise-en-Québec by staging events and attractions that create economic spin-offs for the community. To this end, our organization is involved in sports, cultural, entertainment and agri-food projects.

Responsible for the management of a seasonal tourist information office (B.A.T.), we promote our unique history. Baie de Venise-en-Québec, where the municipality is located, is part of Missisquoi Bay, which is part of the nature reserve of the same name.
